Instructions:

- Start with a blank double page of your Dylusions journal
- Using a small smooth plastic bag, sponge some Distress Oxide Raspberry directly onto the plastic and mix with water. Stamp randomly onto your journal page keeping a somewhat linear approach to the page with colour in the middle third of the page lengthwise.
- Sponge the Distress Oxide Wild Honey in the same way but stamp a little more randomly so that some of the yellow shows a little more above and below the Raspberry colour
- Using the Cadence mini heart stencil, stencil the Shabby Chic Relief Paste in baby pink, again stay roughly within the middle third of the page with some random lines extending above the colour and some below the colour. You will need to wait for the paste to dry between applications as you move across the page (or dry with heat tool)
- Splatter some random drops of acrylic spray in light blue and green
- Splatter (rather than spray) the liquid gilt onto the page randomly as well
- With the Crafts 4U Stacked Heart Die, cut three different sized solid hearts - one in yellow dot, one in purple dot and one in red dot. Also cut three of the corresponding sized hearts into 'rings' out of lilac glitter card

- Mount the three solid hearts across the left hand side page with foam tape. Then attach the glitter 'rings' to the solid hearts according to size. Only attach with glue at the dimple of the heart and at the bottom point of the heart so that the curves of the heart can be pushed up and curve above the solid hearts
- Cut a separate large heart out of the PinkFresh card that has the black splatter (this paper can also be made easily if you cannot find PinkFresh). Sew a rough black thread outline around the heart and heavily distress the edges

- Attach the heart to the right hand page with glue.
- Create a cluster of squares in the same papers as the solid hearts. Arrange them off centred, behind your 2inch square photo. Mount using foam tape to pop up the photo and attach the entire cluster to the page with double sided tape

- Mount a sentiment sticker (I have used 'My Heart is Full') directly underneath the photo cluster with foam tape and then adhere the wood veneer title (happy) both to the photo cluster and to the sentiment sticker
- Using matte medium, adhere some of Dina Wakley tissue hearts (large and small) to the page. The right hand side heart has been mounted on the purple dot paper first and them popped up with foam tape, for interest.

- Add some colourful sticker hearts (or indeed, just use some pencil or markers to add some colourful hearts to your page randomly)
- Using matte medium again, adhere some inspirational words under your sentiment. I have used Dina Wakley tissue words here
- Now for the flowers. I have used every colour of Little Birdie flowers I could find and have roughly created a wavy line that follows the wave of the hearts placed on the left hand side page. I have glued some flowers UNDER the hearts, some ON the edges and AROUND the hearts and other have been glued onto the heart 'rings' so they float ABOVE the other flowers

This will add a lot of dimension and depth to the page
- Do a similar thing around the base of the photo cluster

- Cut 2 leafy branch dies in white and splatter with the light blue and light green acrylic sprays to give them a little colour. Tuck in and glue to either side of the sentiment sticker
- Now you can see if you are able to close your book :) ... if you like a chunky art journal this page will be PERFECT!!
