Prima Class at Catchy Crafts

Last November 5,  The ladies here at Catchy Crafts had a wonderful learning experience with the very talented Prima teacher Sharon Laakkonen.  It was very fun learning how to make the gorgeous Prima heart  canvas album. We are expanding our classes and are looking for talented teachers.  If you are passionate about either stamping, scrapbooking, punch art or any other papercraft and would love to share that passion with lots of other like minded people apply to teach at CATCHY CRAFTS. 

No previous teaching experience necessary and you do not have to be famous you just have to love what you do and be good at it.

Times and days are flexible.  It would be great if you could teach some weekends and/or nights however lots of week day times are also available.  The staff are all welcoming and you will soon feel like part of the family

Glitz and Glam Card Class

Tim Holtz Craft Core Cardstock- Nostalgic

We now have in stock 13 different colours of the Tim Holtz Craft Core Cardstock. This kraft card has a layered coating of color on one side so you can do all of the things you love to do with coredinations card including sand it, tear it, emboss it, and of course distress it.  with kraft core, instead of seeing a matching "color", you actually get the kraft core!  (Pictures from Tim Holtz website)

Wishes Canvas Class Next Week

Hi there, Alex here.  Just wanted to let you know about the Wishes Canvas Workshop I will be teaching next Monday in store.  I had so much fun designing this project, I specifically thought about the wishes I have for my three children and made this canvas as a way of decorating my house with them.  I love putting reminders around my house to inspire and let my kids know how much I love them.  And this canvas certainly allows me to do that and I can add to it regularly.  But it could also be a lovely gift for a special someone with Christmas just around the corner - a friend, Mum or co-worker.

On this canvas we will play with inchies, Tim Holtz crackle paint and Graphic 45 paper.  Be sure to call the store on 9477 4401 to book your spot, places are limited and there are only a few spots left.  Cost is $20 for a 3.5hour class plus kit cost and the workshop will start at 10am.  I would love to see you there and help you create this beautiful canvas that you'll be proud to display.

Cuttlebug Cards with Kim....

Another set of gorgeous cards created by Kim T.  Join her this Wednesday, 17th of August, 7:30 to 9:30 in the evening. 

Try different embossing techniques with a variety of materials to create 4 unique cards. Use diecuts with fabric, some punching and add ribbon - you'll have cards to suit various occasions and learn some great techniques along the way.  For those who can't make it on the evenings, there will be a repeat of this class on Friday, 19th of August from 10:30 am till 12:30 in the afternoon.  To book, give us a ring 94774401.  See yah!

Moving to larger premises has allowed us to expand our teaching classes.  We are now happy to announce that we are bring in some international (and interstate) teachers to inspire us with new techniques and products.

First Catchy Crafts Crop Night!

We would like to thank the ladies who joined us in last Saturday's crop night!!!  It was a fun and very productive night! I was able to finish 3 layouts!!! - so happy with that! It was so lovely to be able to share, chat and scrap with everyone! 

And we would also like to congratulate Diane M. for winning our lucky door prize for that night!!!  Very lucky lady!
